Dear Colleagues:

More than 70 million Americans are living with cardiovascular disease, which accounts for approximately 972,000 deaths each year in the United States. With cardiovascular and metabolic diseases steadily on the rise, the Cardiovascular & Metabolic Health (CMH) Foundation, a not-for-profit organization founded by physicians, recognizes the need for consistent, practical, and balanced education focused on improving the quality of care for patients with or at risk for these diseases. To this end, we have assembled faculty and a planning committee of renowned experts on cardiovascular and metabolic disorders and their sequelae who will guide the development of our educational initiatives and programs.

To date, more than 50,000 healthcare practitioners have participated in educational programs developed by the CMH Foundation and its partner site, the Blood CME Center, providing practical strategies for optimizing treatment and improving outcomes.
