Cardiovascular and Metabolic Health (CMH) Foundation Mission Statement
The Cardiovascular & Metabolic Health (CMH) Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded by physicians who are dedicated
to promoting cardiovascular and metabolic health by improving patient care.
Renowned experts in the fields of hypertension, diabetes, lipids disorders, anemia, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery,
critical care, and coagulation disorders, as well as cardiovascular risk factors, and their sequelae regularly contribute
to balanced, cutting-edge educational initiatives that are designed to educate, communicate and motivate clinicians to
achieve better outcomes for their patients.
Making the Cardiometabolic Connection.
Since its founding, the CMH Foundation has strived to provide clinicians with both clinically
relevant and practical education about cardiometabolic diseases, their respective risk factors,
and the clinical complications associated with the following fields:
- Diabetes
- Dyslipidemia
- Hypertension
- Renal Disease
- Stroke
- CVD Prevention
- Co-morbidities
- Acute Coronary Syndrome
To meet this need, CMH is gathering a panel of nationally renowned experts in the field of
cardiovascular and metabolic disease to guide the development of comprehensive educational
programs that will address the full spectrum of care for patients with these diseases.
As an added service, the CMH Foundation created the Blood CME Center to focus on disorders
associated with bleeding and clotting, such as:
- Acquired Coagulation Disorders
- Congential Factor Deficiencies
- Perioperative Hemostasis
- Hematologic Malignancies
